The Latter Rain International Ministries accepts the scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purposes of maintaining spiritual unity, adopts the following statement of fundamental truths:

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in:
    • The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ
    • His virgin birth
    • His sinless life
    • His miracles
    • His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood
    • His bodily resurrection
    • His ascension to the right hand of the Father
    • In his personal return in power and glory
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as in Acts 2:4.
  • We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit and his fruits and gifts abiding in the church today.
  • We believe in the spiritually lost condition of men and the essential need of being born again through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the sacraments of the Lord's Supper, and water baptism in the name of the Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit for all believers.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and will do all to work for a greater expression of that unity.
  • We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
  • We believe the scriptures teach that God's desire and design are for the whole person spiritually, emotionally and physically, and that the Lord still intervenes in the lives of mankind. Therefore, we pray for individuals according to James 5:13-17.
